Messaging Terms

These Messaging Terms describe the text message program operated by ProEdge Operations LLC on behalf of the independent HVAC and plumbing contractors who use our platform. By providing your mobile number and agreeing to receive texts when you schedule service with a contractor, you agree to these terms.

What messages you will receive

If you request service from a contractor that uses ProEdge and provide your mobile number with consent, you will receive service-related text messages from that contractor, which may include appointment confirmations and reminders, technician dispatch and arrival notifications, job completion and invoice notices, and replies to questions you send about your service. Every message identifies the contractor sending it by business name.

How you opt in

You opt in when you schedule service with the contractor, either by submitting the contractor's online service-request or booking form with the SMS consent box checked, or by giving consent verbally when you book by phone, which the contractor records. Consent is tied to the specific contractor you engaged. Providing consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on your service activity, for example the number of appointments you schedule and the updates tied to each visit. You will generally receive messages only in connection with a service you requested.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. ProEdge and the contractor do not charge you for the messages themselves.

How to opt out

You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you reply STOP, you will receive one confirmation message and then no further texts from that contractor. To resubscribe, reply START.

How to get help

For help, reply HELP to any message, or contact support at support@proedgeops.com. You can also contact the contractor directly at the business phone number included in their messages.

Privacy

Mobile numbers and consent are used only to deliver the messages described here. We do not sell or share mobile numbers or consent information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Carrier disclaimer

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Changes

We may update these Messaging Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above.
